As automobile manufacturer with long history, Peugeot also care about global environment issues and applied in their hybrid car concepts. At the 2008 Paris Motor Show, they presented a new concept hybrid electric sports sedan called the Peugeot RC HYmotion4.

Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano or also called F141 is an Italian gran turismo produced by Ferrari with two-seat flagship, replacing the 575 M Maranello in 2006 as a 2007 model.Ferrari 599 GTB debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in February 2006. It is named for its total engine displacement (5999 cc), Gran Turismo Berlinetta nature, and the Fiorano Circuit test track used by Ferrari.

An upgrade that improves the car’s handling, meaning Handling Gran Turismo Evoluzione, includes a modified set-up with stiffer springs and rear anti-roll bar as well as new calibration settings for the magneto-rheological shock absorbers when the manettino is at its sportier settings. The ride height has also been lowered, which lowers the car’s center of gravity. The package also includes optimised tyres featuring a compound that offers improved grip. The car’s electronics have also changed. The gearbox’s shifts are faster in high-performance settings, while new engine software improved accelerator response. The exhaust silencer was modified to produce more marked and thrilling sound under hard usage while still delivering just the right comfort levels at cruising speed. The R8 road car was officially launched at the Paris Auto Show on 30 September 2006. Nissan Juke come to the market already !!Two thumbs for Nissan with pushing the invention and design envelopment. Back to 2003, its Murano midsize crossover was considered a radical design, with its rounded body shell, upswept hood and bold tail lights. In 2008, the Nissan Cube was introduced, representing the boxiest of all compact multi-purpose vehicles featuring a left side wrap-around rear window.
And now we have the JUKE, a front- or all-wheel-drive crossover that is powered by a peppy 1.6-liter turbocharged four cylinder engine paired with a continuously variable transmission. Introduced for 2011, the JUKE slots below the popular compact Rogue crossover, offering car shoppers a vehicle that has very little direct competition. The JUKE rides on the same platform underpinning Nissan’s subcompact Versa and Cube MPV. Indeed, the JUKE and the Cube have the same 99.6 inch wheelbase, although the JUKE is about five inches longer overall.
The JUKE is four door hatchback featuring pronounced circular headlamps with raised turn signal indicators embedded in its hood. The front air dam features three circular holes offset by optional fog lamps, completing what appears at first glance to be someone’s attempt to marry a child’s clay project with an authentic automotive design. From the sides, the look is coupe-like as the rear doors feature handles that are hidden in the rear pillar. From the back, the tail lights take inspiration from the 370Z, yet another exclamation point on a vehicle that screams that it is like no other.
Cabin Look
Inside, the JUKE is dominated by hard plastics, most evident with the transmission shifter housing that is color coordinated with the interior. My test model featured a black interior, thus the housing was painted silver. In some models the housing is red or blue, offset by the same dark seats and surfaces.
A circular design theme dominates the interior including three overlapping instrument panel with read outs, round air vents, circular door handles and round knobs in the center stack, which features a 5-inch screen. Speaking of read outs, Nissan combines analog and digital displays including a mpg reading which shifted constantly even when I was in cruise mode on the highway. A one- or two-tenths shift would be expected, but this number changed by more than 5 mpg every few seconds.
Confined Interior
Seats for the driver and front passenger are comfortable and manually operated. There is plenty of leg, hip, shoulder and head room with or without the moon roof. The back seat, however, is cramped and not suitable for tall people. The tapered roof line limits head room; leg room is at a premium should either the driver or front passenger have his seat pushed all of the way back. Seating is for three, but adequate for two smaller people who don’t mind the cramped confines.
Behind the rear seat is just 10.5 cubic feet of storage area, which can be tripled with the rear seat folded down. And that leads to my conclusion on just who might be interested in buying a JUKE: a single person desiring the versatility of a crossover without paying the steep price. Indeed, as delivered, this model retailed for under $23,000 with the base sticker price going for under $20K. If you want more interior room, then consider the Nissan Cube.
Where the JUKE shines is on the road. To this driver, the JUKE seems much larger than it is, offering excellent power from its small, but noisy turbocharged engine. Rated at 188 horsepower, the JUKE’s engine is no slouch, providing on demand performance that will take you from zero to 60 mph in just over 7 seconds. And it does this with a continuously variable transmission that can be shifted into auto mode on the highway.
Braking is quite good with featured electronic stability control enabling this vehicle to quickly stop. Nimble handling makes the drive a snap; a tight turning radius is most welcome.
Stealing Glances
Heading south on U.S. 1 toward Aberdeen, North Carolina, and through some of the most beautiful golfing communities on the east coast, not once, not twice, but three times I had people pull up alongside the JUKE, look over and smile. Or where they laughing? That was hard to tell. Either way, the JUKE is an attention getter and not your run of the mill MPV.
The JUKE truly shines on the highway where its turbocharged engine kicks in to deliver plenty of power in a vehicle weighing about 3,000 pounds. Offering 177 foot-pounds of torque to go with its 188 hp, this crossover has the power to quickly pass slow movers and keep a steady pace. Set the cruise control and keep moving – your controls are within easy reach on the steering wheel.
JUKE Amenities
Power windows, door locks and side mirrors are standard with the JUKE. However, the controls for the mirrors are on the lower left side of the dash instead of on the door itself. You may need to lean over and avert your eyes from the road momentarily to adjust accordingly. My test vehicle came equipped with a moon roof, strategically placed over the front seats. More often than not I slid the cover open. Less often did I open the roof up.
Who is likely to consider the JUKE? Young people, perhaps females mostly. At least that’s what people told me.

The Bugatti Veyron Engine Super Sport version is the fastest road-legal production car in the world, with a top speed of 431 km/h (268 mph). The original version has a top speed of 408.47 km/h (253.81 mph). The Bugatti Veyron Engine features an 8.0 litre, quad-turbocharged, W16 cylinder engine, equivalent to two narrow-angle V8 engines. Each cylinder has four valves for a total of sixty four, but the narrow staggered V8 configuration allows two overhead camshafts to drive two banks of cylinders so only four camshafts are needed. The Bugatti Veyron can be driven in either semi- or fully automatic mode. A replacement transmission for the Veyron costs just over US$120,000.
It also has permanent four wheel drive using the Haldex Traction system. It uses special Michelin PAX run-flat tyres, designed specifically to accommodate the Veyron’s top speed, which cost US$25,000 per set. The tyres can be removed from the rims only in France, a service which costs US$70,000. Curb weight is 1,888 kilograms (4,162 lb). This gives the car a power-to-weight ratio, according to Volkswagen Group’s figures, of 446.3 metric horsepower (328 kW; 440 bhp) per ton.

Introducing two new trims from Bentley — one for the Bentley Continental GT coupe and one for the GTC convertible — powered by a new V-8 engine at the 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
The new powerplant will slot underneath the W-12 engine, which also gets a power boost. This is the first V-8 powertrain offered on the Bentley Continental nameplate since 2003. The new 500-horsepower, twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 features direct injection and a cylinder deactivation system. Under the right conditions, four cylinders can deactivate on the V-8. When mated to a standard eight-speed automatic transmission, Bentley expects the powertrain to deliver a 40% improvement in fuel efficiency compared to the W-12 model, which returns 12/19/14 mpg city/highway/combined. The motor will propel the Continental GT from zero to 60 mph in less than 5 seconds, and it has a top speed of more than 180 mph.
The 4.0-liter V-8 was recently introduced on the redesigned Audi S6; Bentley Motors is a subsidiary of Volkswagen, which in turn owns Audi.
Because the 631-hp W-12 will still exist, it’s important for Bentley to distinguish the presumably less-expensive V-8 models from the W-12.
Models equipped with the V-8 will feature their own distinct exterior and interior features, according to the automaker. The exterior has a segmented, dark honeycomb lower intake, unique 20-inch alloy wheels and quad tailpipes that each form a “figure 8,” says the automaker, though it’s actually an infinity symbol but whatever.
In the cabin, the center console on the V-8 model doesn’t span the entire interior as it does on the W-12. There’s only room for four as there’s still no rear center seat. Unique two-tone leather and cloth pillar and headliner trim instead of Alcantara or leather also distinguish the model from the more illustrious W-12 variant.

When introduced, Lamborghini stated that the LP700-4 would hit a top speed of 217 miles per hour but during a recent test session while in the hands of the European automotive gurus at Sport Auto, the Aventador reached a top speed of 370 kilometres per hour – or 230 miles per hour for our American readers. That is 13 miles per hour faster than the stated top speed of the newest Lamborghini supercar and with a top speed in the range of 230, the Lamborghini Aventador ranks among the fastest production cars in the history of the automobile.

Sport Auto hit a top speed with their Lamborghini Aventador test subject of 370kmh/230mph, which places the Aventador 6th among production cars, trailing the McLaren F1 (231mph), the Koenigsegg CCR (241mph), the Bugatti Veyron (253.81mph), the SSC Ultimate Aero TT (256.18mph) and the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport (267.856mph). The key fact here is that the Aventador can hang with those models – all of which are far more expensive and most of which are no longer available.
On that list of the top five fastest cars in the world, only the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport and the Ultimate Aero TT are still available, with the Veyron SS costing $2.3 million while the Ultimate Aero TT will set you back around $650k…both of which are far more expensive than the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador that costs “only” around $379,000. In addition to being less expensive than those other 225+ mph supercars (most of which are now dubbed hypercars), we can expect to see far more Aventadors on the road than we do any of those other high performance cars on the fastest production cars list.
In addition to offering video of the new Lamborghini Aventador speedometer and tachometer as the V12 helps the supercar climb to 370kmh, Sport Auto also gave us a look at the Aventador tearing around the Hockenheimring race course in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. This lap, which was conducted by Sport Auto, brought about a lap time of 1:08.575 which makes it faster around the German race course than the Porsche 911 GT2 RS and putting it within a half second of the Porsche Carrera GT and the McLaren MP4-12C.
