2011 Audi S7
Although Audi’s new A7 Sportback hasn’t even gone on sale yet (in fact, the production model hasn’t even been seen, only a concept version displayed at the Detroit auto show this past January), there are already rumors that Audi is working on a high-performance S version of the unique 5-door hatchback. Dubbed the S7, the real shocker isn’t that Audi will build an S version of the Sportback, but rather that it will be powered by a supercharged 4.0-liter V-8. This engine, known as the 4.0 TFSI, is said to produce 394 bhp. It will come mated to a 7-speed version of Audi’s S tronic twin-clutch gearbox along with standard Quattro all-wheel drive.

Ford Focus 2009 will get you where you want to go, but the driving experience is not particularly special. The quick steering is nice, but even the sport-tuned SES models lack the energetic handling feel that earlier Focus models were known for.
The 2.0-liter engine for Ford Focus 2009 is adequate in terms of power, though it makes raucous noises at higher engine speeds. Although five-speed automatics are becoming increasingly common in this segment, the Focus makes do just fine with four.
