KIA Sorento is a vehicle from the marque of the South Korean Auto major, Kia Motors.
First generation of this vehicle started in 2002 and ended in 2009. For the first generation Kia Sorento, you had two options in transmissions. One was a 5-speed manual and the second was a four-speed or five-speed automatic. During the pre-2005 models, the four-speed transmission was used and on the 2005 Sorrentos, the five-speed tip-tronic style automatic transmission was used. The engine used was a 3.5 liter 24-valve DOHC V6 manufactured by Hyundai and this could produce a horsepower of 192 at 5500 rpm and a torque of 217 lb.ft. at 3000 rpm.
