The 5 series is BMW’s line of mid-size luxury sedans, a staple vehicle among the upper middle class. Unfortunately, the 2010 versions are mostly lame-duck models, as the 2011 5 series has already been introduced with an entirely new design and a variety of new engine options.
For 2010, the 5 series retains the same engines as the 2009 models. The entry-level is the 528i sedan, which has a 3.0 liter inline V6 that produces 230 hp. A few modifications to this engine, including the addition of twin-turbochargers, gave BMW the powerplant of the 535i, which produces an even 300 hp. (more…)

Ford experimented with cars while working for Thomas Edison, and left to found his first auto company, The Detroit Automobile Company, which went bankrupt in just 2 years. He then built a race car and founded Henry Ford Company. Ford left that one after just one year.

If you found that your car’s windshield got cracked, usually you must to replaced it. It was the law, that was it – nothing could be done about it. But now, it different. The windshield repair shop in your area is probably using a new resin that can be applied to small cracks in the windshield, sealing up the crack and preventing any further damage. This is cheaper than a full replacement and it is such a great option that any insurance company will pay for the fix outright.
While it may be cheaper and better to take your car to an auto glass repair shop than to have the entire windshield replaced, it’s important to know that taking care of even the smallest chip or crack should be done as soon as possible. Both the cold and warm weather will put varying degrees of stress on your windshield, causing further damage that might not be immediately obvious. In the winter months, the windshield will warp in a more concave direction. This means that any cracks in the windshield will begin spreading horizontally even if there is no other form of stress on the windshield. The warm weather has the opposite effect and can cause cracks to begin spreading up and down.
